How to determine the right foundation for my skin tone? Or is there is a consultant who can assist me.

At any Ulta or Sephora or a beauty store you can just ask someone working there and they'll match you.

Try swatching the colour on your neck if there are testers, when blended it should be match your face as well :) hope this helps.

I personally don't trust the employees at sephora to match me because I've had different people mismatch me a lot. And I'm talking ridiculously mismatched. A general rule for knowing if a foundation matches is that if you swatch it on your face, it blends into your skintone to where its hardly visible. Also, get samples of foundation to figure it out. Especially if you don't have a good return/exchange policy.

I've been mismatched quite often, too. I am almost always the palest shade in most foundations, yet consultants usually try to match me to a darker shade, or a warm toned foundation (I have cool toned skin). Definitely go check the foundation swatches in natural light, and wait a while to see whether or not they oxidise (turn a darker colour when they react with your skin). I hope this helps!
