So I love purple lipstick and the colored lip trend, but I can't seem to find a way to wear it casually. like, an everyday kind of casual, not like a night on the town kind of thing. I have fairly dark brown hair with warm tones and a violet base, so purple makeup tends to look pretty good on me in any shade and bring out my hair, but its the rest of my look I'm struggling with.

Do simple eyes :) just like everyone else said, do only mascara and maybe eyeliner if you want, I'd say fill in your eyebrows too it would compliment it really well!

Maybe it's the shade of the lipstick that's making you feel like you need to add more color. Try a more lavender/mauve color like MAC up the amp lipstick

Just mascara will do, with smooth skin and lightly defined brows. Which purple lipstick do you own? I bought Mac Rebel yesterday and I think it's very easy to wear. it's not a cool purple though, it's pretty warm, buildable, long-lasting and it fades into a very beautiful berry stain.

I usually pair lilac/violet lips with a matte neutral eyes (just contour the crease and brighten the lids).

You can use purple lip gloss or a lip stain :) for eyes I would do winged liner.

I just wear mascara, brow products, & my regular face products when I wear a purple lip.

You could do a sheer muted purple like Nars's Shrinigar. :)
