I adore my flat brush and the bb just gives me the same coverage and finish as a regular beauty sponge which I don't really like. The only thing special about the bb is the shape which makes it easier to blend. I adore my flat top brush and I wouldn't trade it for any sponge

I use both equally. I've the damp beauty blender for my dry skin. If I had to only use one, I'd choose the BB.
