I usually use homemade products for a primer but I want to try an actual primer now. I want to start off with drugstore, and then work my way up to high end like I do with everything haha. So, anyone know of a good drugstore primer? My skin is kind of oily, not too bad.. I just get really shiny on my nose..
Thanks!!

I really like Avon Magix for primer. Not drugstore but still cheap. Only 12 bucks! Lasts all through my work day. 9 hours.

So far it's lasted until I wash my face but I've only worn it for 5 hours or so at a time. I'll let you know when I go a full day!

hard candy I hear has a good primer, and it is fairly cheap. (: && rimmel has a face primer, I think it's fix & perfect, anyway I have heard a lot of great things about that one too! emilynoel83 on YouTube probably has some videos about face primers for you(: I have a shiny nose and forehead, so I find that powder does wonders! but if you don't like powder, oil blotting sheets are easy to keep around too(:

I thought Palladio's herbal foundation primer, as well as L'oreal's Magic Perfecting Base were good when I first started playing with primers. Before that I just used Cetaphil Moisturizing cream as it made my foundation apply easier. I am combo-oily and it never created a problem with excess oil production, that I wouldn't have had not using it.

I've heard a lot of good things about the L'oreal magic perfecting base.. Did it keep you shine free the whole day?

Yes it did! I always get a little shiny on my cheek bones and on my forehead, but everything else stayed satin-matte. And thank you! You are gorge dear! = P

This technically isn't drug store, it's from an online Indie company, Fyrinnae. They have a 1 oz. face primer for $7. It's best for oily skin though. It instantly mattes the skin. They have powder primers as well though!

These are some great ideas to try. I am using benefit's pore refiner and LOVE it ladies. The only drug store one I have tried was the Rimmel fix & perfect and it made my face BURN and turn red. I was bummed bc I had read good reviews on it.
