Hi Ladies,
I'm trying to decide which facial cleansing device to purchase, it's between the Pulsaderm or Clarisonic Mia 2. Although there's quite a price difference, I don't want that to alter my decision. I want the device that is best for my skin not wallet!
The main difference I've found is that the pulsaderm uses a sonic brush movement that pulsates at 10,000x/min in a 3d motion. Clarisonic oscillates at a sonic frequency that produces over 300 movements per second.
I noticed the pulsaderm claims "unlike oscillation, it does not pinch and pull on your skin" is it true that oscillation can pinch and pull skin? If so then it seems like pulsaderm is a better product.
Thanks in advance, xoxo

I've had a clarisonic for a little over a month and I love it. I have pretty sensitive skin and find it doesn't pull or pinch at all. I can't even imagine it pinching, as the bristles are incredibly soft and it honestly doesn't oscillate very far. I think it can pull if you press the brush head into your skin too hard, but you're supposed to just hold it to the skin's surface. I find holding at the base keeps me from pressing too hard and doing any damage. I know some people with extremely sensitive skin prefer the "delicate" head over the sensitive one which comes in the box. I haven't heard of anyone who found the delicate brush too abrasive.

The Clarisonic uses Nylon fibers which are still abrasive to the skin so that may be what they mean :)

Thanks for sharing your experience Jack B and I've read the same thing that most peoples issue comes from improper use using too much pressure and wrong brush head. Kitty I'm so glad you commented as your one of the skin experts I was hoping to hear from! I emailed pulsaderm and asked what material the brush is made of and I wouldn't of thought of it without you. I'm awaiting the reply, but I think I'll go with the pulsaderm based off comparing videos of the products being used in water.
