Favorite drug store mascara?

So I normally didn't buy my mascara, my am did so I always got what I got. Now I'm out, and sadly they don't sell the mascara I've been using anymore and I went to get more and there's so many choices I'm not quite sure what to get. I like very dark and dramatic lashes, and I'm trying to learn how to apply falsies so I don't know if I need to consider that in my mascara choice...this is overwhelming. any suggestions?
