I use Ipsy and I love it, I don't know about Birchbox, I've heard good things, but Ipsy seems to be more popular.

I have Ipsy and I love it! I was torn between ipsy and birchbox as well so I watched a ton of unboxing videos on YouTube to get a feel for what each would be like and I chose ipsy since it leans more on the makeup side than birchbox. I'd suggest watching the unboxing videos and deciding that way :)

Ipsy is mostly makeup and they have some great products. Birchbox I love some items, but yes they have a lot more skin care such as body lotion, shave gel, eye or face cream, etc. ipsy is almost always just makeup. I will be cancelled my birchbox soon and going with just ipsy!

Oh and if you decide on ipsy, the offer when I got it to skip the wait list was I share to Facebook and subscribe to YouTube channels, I just switched my privacy settings to "only me" so my post about "gettig off the ipsy waitlist!" Wasn't public, and I still skipped the waitlist.
