So I want to get a foundation and primer, I don't mind spending a bit more on the primer, but I would like to try to keep the products under $40. My skin can get very oily, and I have some large pores. When I wear foundation I find it either oxidizes, or it sinks into my skin leaving some area's looking patchy and gross. What are some primers and foundations that will help? Also is a beauty blender sponge worth it?? Thank you.

Girl oily all the way 😕
The porefessional did nothing for me if anything made my makeup look like crap. Just my opinion on the product.
Things I use: Primers, Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer &&' the Rimmel Stay Matte.
Foundations, I mix a bit of Cover girls 3 in 1 foundation &&' Garniers BB Cream (oily skin formula) works perfect in my opinion.
Hope this helps 😘

I personally haven't had much success with drugstore primers. They all have irritated my skin something fierce. I know you are trying to stick with a budget but if you can stretch it I highly advise Hourglass Mineral Veil primer. I have oily/combo skin and that lil gem didn't cause me any grief and it did a pretty good job at keeping my makeup looking fresh and pores from being magnified.

A primer I love to use on myself and others is the Rimmel fix and perfect in 002. Very smoothing but not too slippery.
Sorry I can't help much with foundation :/ I don't use it (I still prime my skin for concealer). Well, I did like the bourjois healthy mix serum foundation. it's very natural.

Hello Melissa, here is a quick fyi about Beautylish rules.Your thread is subject for deletion because your makeup question should be posted in the makeup category not in beauty and if continued to not place in the correct category it will come down to a account deletion. We at Beautylish want even flow of threads so that every member will get answers to their questions but to do that all Beautylish members need to follow the categorizing rules.I know a few on this thread could have given you the heads up but didn't and I had to step in to inform you about it.We as moderators are getting more vigilant about it since so many go against the policy and so many don't give other members a heads up that now we will be on everyone's case even more.please feel free to read the forum rules for a better understanding.Thank you and have a wonderful day.
