I was wondering if it was bad for your hair. I only use it every 5months because I already know that it makes your hair turn white.

Lemon juice is really bad for your hair, it's far too acidic.

I don't think it makes your hair turn white? But the key is just to use it in moderation 👌

It's extremely drying... So use in moderation. I've used it plenty of times before, but always in a small amount and never more than like two days in a row.

I use lemon juice and camomile tea in my hair during the summer. Lemon juice doesn't turn your hair white it just lightens it. I mix them together and put it in a spray bottle then I just spray it all over my hair. You have to be out in the sun for a while to see actual results (and constantly throughout the summer). Usually when I do it it's best to be at the beach or tanning. I've never had any problems/damage with lemon juice, maybe because I have thick, coarse hair? My hair turns from dirty blonde to a light golden blonde.

Yes lemon juice is not good for your hair's structure. If you want to replace the lemons with something try peroxide I think it should be safe enough. Just don't use it everyday it will dry out your hair eventually.
