My best tip is to keep your eye open and look straight ahead in the mirror and make a wing straight out and then connect it :) hope that makes sense

I like using gel eye liner because it's really smooth and the angled liner brush is way easier for me to use.

The best way for me is looking down in a mirror. One time I got a perfect wing by lying on by back.. No clue how it happened.

I found that my winged eyeliner improved greatly when I used the ELF Studio Angled Eyeliner Brush. You can also put tape along the corner of your eye at an angle and that will create the perfect wing.
