What are the effects of accutane that you guys get?

It make me extremely sensitive to the sun. I was constantly getting burned especially my hands. I'm no longer taking it and my skin definitively has cleared up not sure if it was the Accutane or just me getting older and my skin getting better?

My sister is on it and her side effects are dry lips and small red rashes on the inside of her forearms.
