I have the dove dry shampoo and every time I use it, my scalp burns and itches like crazy. None of the oil gets absorbed and it actually makes my hair oiler. Is there a possibility that I could be allergic to the dry shampoo?

Um yeah I think it's possible. there is probably a chemical in the shampoo that you are allergic to. But feel better and I hope you figure it out lml.

Renay: that's true... I just didn't know if it was even possible. I didn't read the ingredients on the bottle and it's mostly alcohol, and I have dry skin. Maybe that's what is irritating my scalp.

I think it is a chemical your allergic to because I use that dry shampoo and I've never had a problem with it

It could just be too harsh, rather than you actually being allergic to an ingredient. However, it certainly is possible.

You can tint baby powder and cornstarch with other kitchen products. There are video how-tos on youtube.
