Just recently I've slipped with my skincare regime (sob, I know it's bad!) and now I've broken out in blackheads. I especially get them on my cheeks and around and on my nose. What's the best way to start getting rid of them?

Buy pore strips. and before you use them, put some water with a tiny little bit of baking powder on the parts of your face that you have problems with. wash it off, and then your strips should work perfectly :) good luck!

I heard that putting toothpaste on a tooth brush and brushing the area with blackheads for a few minutes will get rid of them!

The best way to get rid of blackheads is with a chemical exfoliator, I found this out on a recent thread and Kitty recommended Paulas Choice BHA exfoliator, it exfoliates inside the pore and with regular use it will completely eliminate blackheads.

Ya a chemical exfoliator is the way to go! The kate Somerville exfoliators are the hands down best! They are chemical and physical exfoliators in one!
Also Boscia has really good pore strips! Any strips from the drugstore will leave your pores wide open when you take them over VS the Boscia that will close them up so you don't find yourself in the same situation soon after

Pore strips or a charcoal mask. Freeman's has a charcoal mask for like $3. available at Wal-Mart :) don't use toothpaste
