A toner is basically similar to an astringent and you apply it with a cotton round or a cotton ball. It helps cleanse your pores and also helps with acne scars.

Apply it with a cotton pad or ball. it takes off all the dirt that wasn't cleaned away before. it also leaves your skin feeling really good. :)
