All along I thought I had dry skin. turns out my skin has become more oily. or so I have noticed it is more oily. and so I was told I probably have oily/combo skin.
the only problem is I don't know how to tend to combo/oily skin.
so what are your tips for this skin type?
what should I include in my skin care?
what should I avoid?
what kind of makeup should I use/not use?
so on and so forth.

I have the weirdest skin. My skin is SO DRY it over compensates oil because it's so dry and I live in Alaska so it's a dry cold. Even for oily skin it's important to moisturize. What helps my skin is using an oil on my skin. Don't be scared at this. Different oils have different Comedogenicity levels. if your Google them it's an easy find. I use a dab of oil because it moisturizes deep into the skin but leaves the surface of my skin very matte. Before makeup use a primer every single day to control oil. Avoid strong oils like argan oil for the face and stick with an oil like jojoba which is light. For foundation it's all over there are so many choices and it's a hit and miss for oil. But I tend to go for a water based one or a mineral one because it controls oils better. To set it (This is weird) use corn startch. It's very odd but the oil control is amaxing. You want to use something that looks powdery at first on this skin which you set with a setting spray to melt and dry onto the foundation for further oil control.
