Do you think red hair, looks unprofessional for interviews? (like medical assistant)?

Ya they usually don't like that

As long as your hair is well put together and the rest of your ensemble is well together than I see no reason why red hair would be a problem. just make sure you don't have any weird faded colors going on and also make sure its neat.

I'm not to positive... Depends on the interviewer , like I'm pretty open minded about stuff so I would think it's beautiful and new but someone like my grand mother would not lol I think it's all in whatever age group the interviewer is and where you live. You could always try looking up on their website see if they list a dress code or maybe they'll have pictures of people that work there on the website and you can get an idea. The only other idea I can think of is actually asking a medical assistant that already works there and knows the people there could tell you lol. Hope fully someone else who knows more can help you out more lol good luck!!💕💕

Bright red hair is so common these days. I see nurses and dental assistants with bright red hair, bank tellers, a lady at coach had bright red hair and the one at the prada store here had red underneath her bangs. I think it's becoming more common, and as long as it looks good (not just a messy bun), they won't care. I'd just work on doing your hair everyday, curls, straightening etc. so you don't look "slobbish" which is much harder to avoid when your hair stands out a lot. Like when I (my hair color changes a lot, but it's usually not a natural color) do my hair in curls, and spend two hours on it nobody judges or looks at me badly (mostly, anyways) but if I throw my hair in a quick bun or messy ponytail and go to the same places, they look at me like I'm some drug addict child who can't afford to spend 5$. They judge and stare in rude ways.
So as long as you are presentable, it shouldn't be your hair their focusing on.

Depends on the color of red and how your over all look is and how you present yourself :) I think red hair can look professional

It's discriminative if they choose to not employ you based on you're hair colour babe!! As long as you're dressed and portray you're personality professionally it's not going to matter what colour it is :) Good luck sweets, hope you get it xoxox

Ok it may be common but professional places still do not want their employees having an unnatural hair color. Now it's not discrimination if they do not hire based on hair color, tattoos, piercings, etc.it's within their rights. So unfortunately to not ruin your chances is definitely dye the red hair...good luck!!

Unless it is written in their policies, it is discrimination to not hire someone based on their looks whether it be hair color, piercings or tattoos. Most companies will be like "no we didn't hire you because _____" if you call them out on it and make up a bs reason so you can't take them to court but it is illegal. And you can't really say all professional places don't want their employees having unnatural hair. Like I said above, I've seen tons of professionals with red hair, piercings or tattoos. Where I live we have a world famous children's hospital (the stollery) and the nurses and volunteers are almost encouraged to have bright hair because it cheers up some children. When I went to volunteer there I had blue hair and the lady there told me that I'd be perfect for it, because the little kids like to call the nurses mermaids, fairies etc. I've seen many many professional places with employees with unnatural colored hair, tattoos and/or piercings.
