If you want to keep it long I would say an inch or two or if you are going for a shorter look I'd say just below your shoulders like boob length

I don't think an inch would be enough. I'm going to be honest with you, it does look dry as well as damaged. I highly suggest around four inches to get all of the damage off, so you can have healthy hair! I love the color! Also, I suggest doing a deep conditioning treatment mask to moisturize it some!

I'd cut about 2 to 3 inches just to make it even, since the sides are a bit shorter than everything else. Then go in and make some long layers, meaning they are at the bottom so you still have lots of length, but if you decide to curl it there's pretty definition. Your hair looks like its kinda thick, for summer some under layers would be good so make it a little lighter :]
