Any tips on maintaining a sew in weave?

Hi. I got my first sew in weave on the 9th of May. I just needed a break from my natural hair and wanted to try something new. Can anyone offer me any tips on how to moisturize my hair underneath? How to keep it healthy? Also how can I make sure my weave stays looking good? Thanks I really appreciate it. Here's a picture of the hair.

Moisturize your hair using a lite oil only on your scalp.. Wrap your hair at night & apply a scarf or bonnet... Deep condition your hair at least once every two weeks & sit underneath a hooded dryer.
