Stripping is taking out the current dye in your hair.. Basically somewhat bleach.. It sucks😞

Hmmmm I see. Well, is your hair super damaged to start with? Or is this just the first time?

Beware if orange hair lol if you're stripping any kind of brown you will probably end up with brassiness.

I just did this for the second time a few days ago. I recommend l'oreal colorzap from Sally's (stronger than color oops) be prepared to dye it right after. Especially if your hair is dark, it may come out orange. Also, use a hair keratin strengthener treatment before to get your hair ready. And do a hair mask and deep condition after. I waited a couple days then I just deep conditioned my hair with a mask a few mins ago (with some semi permanent color in it, so the color doesn't become dull)

Are you taking out permanent color? If you are start with ion color corrector (I don't know the exact name). It takes out permanent hair color without using bleach and doesn't damage.

Great... I was hoping after I strip my hair I could naturally lighten it? But I'll just dye it a dirty blonde and naturally lighten it from there? Thank you all!!

Stripping the color is easy peasy but it's damaging, my cousin keeps dying her hair and stripping it so she can get the exact color she wants and it's very damaging.. So after you do take the dye out give it a good deep consisting treatment, that's what I would do.. And you can naturally lighten your hair by sitting outside in the sun, that's what I do 😊
