I always wonder the same thing, I have a revlon one and it does nothing for me. I've heard good things about Shu Uemura lash curler but I don't want to spend the money and see no difference.

Tracy, if you want the tarte one check their website or ulta, they have a kit with deluxe mascara and curler at the same price as the curler alone! I believe its still there :)

I have the shu uemera curler & I think it's overly hyped/priced. I don't see much of a difference using that vs my $5 revlon curler. Tarte might be worth checking out though.

I have Shu Uemura and Revlon. The pricey one looks prettiest immediately after use but give it five minutes and it looks just like a normal one.

I would say yes for SURE, I have kinda an eyelash curler obsession. I started off with revlon which I thought was fine until I bought one from MAC. the revlon is much loser and doesn't make as tight of a curl. Also the curl doesn't hold as well. I recently purchased a Kevin Aucoin curler off Beautylish & I'm so obsessed!! I literally only have to curl my lashes once and it holds all day/into the next day!! The MAC one works pretty well too if you don't like to shop online. :) after using the high end ones I just feel like the drugstore curlers are a waste of money.
