Have you tried painting them outside?

I always take a small fan when I am doing my nails, it really helps!

Use your polish remover in a separate, well ventilated area. I always remove my old polish in the bathroom with the fan on and then do all my fresh painting in my room. Also do you use acetone remover? Try a non-acetone one. It works just as well and the smell isn't as harsh :)

Definitely ventilate! Either open a window or turn on a fan. I paint my nails at the kitchen counter with the oven ventilator on. Those fumes give me nasty headaches too.
