Nail cuticle problem. Please help.

I don't know what's wrong with my nails I ALWAYS have hangnails and I dry cuticles around then nail. How can I have clean nails? Sorry for the nasty pic...

Get a moisturizing cuticle oil or balm. It should take care of the problem. c:

They are just dry which is why they are splitting. Massage them with oil every night, I recommend olive or coconut. In a couple of weeks they should be good as new. Once they are healthy you can push you cuticles back gently with a hoof stick if you want but don't trim them as this can lead to infection.
