You should wash it with warm water to open your pores, then do your normal wash so that all of the soap and what not will clean your pores. After you have finished your routine then rinse off with cold water to close the pores and keep your pores clean ;)
Hope that helped

Use warm water to open your pores when cleaning your face and then cold water to close your pores so dirt doesn't go in them. Cold water can also help bring down eye bags.

I don't think you should wash your face with cold water. your pores won't be able to open up & which is important for cleaning out the dirt, oils, & makeup that builds up in them.
I would wash your face in warm (not hot) water & then splash your face with cold water to close your pores back up.
