Ok this post/topic is about all those beauty advisers or makeup artists that have made you believe what your buying was made for you and how lovely you look. BUT once out the store and you go home and look at yourself in the mirror you realized you look a mess.
Here's my story.
I LOVE MAC. However, I hate how I get pressured into buying more than I need. Everything in MAC just looks so cool and the other day I nearly spent £250 and stuff I didn't need or want. Thank god my best friend was there to tell me to STOP and gave the lady the items I only needed.
Does anyone else gets pressured into buying more?

Hibz, totally know what you mean. I am my own worst enemy though. I see things and want them (sephora especially) and I don't need them but I HAVE to have them lol.

I think we've all done it. I have a whole drawer, desk and case full of make up and I've just made a $600 MAC order of makeup I've never even sampled :-/ lol.

It's not the sales ladies that get me, it's the simple fact it's a sale... "It's a lovely day and I'm totally content. Oh look, a SALE on makeup/shoes/clothes. Ahhhh I'm going to die if I miss SALE!!"~ My (exaggerated, but pretty accurate) thought process.

I'm the same way @Ellen! And my boyfriend hates it lol. He's like just because it's a sale or you have a coupon doesn't mean you HAVE to get it..um yes it does😊. Who knows when it'll be back on sale?? In my opinion it's a must!

Omg I have a sale but hate it when the con you in saying "items up-to 70% off" And when you're looking it's all the cr-p items are that much off and the things you need are only 10% off. That hurts my soul mannnn lol

Lol Jinx! I have felt that exact thing. It's so funny what we go through in our minds to feel justified in buying something there us no way in hell you can afford. If I just don't eat for a whole week I can afford the YSL lipstick I am sure there are some sort of ingredients in it that will help with the malnutrition so I can lick little bits off my lips if I feel like I'm going to pad out. Voila! You can afford YSL and Tom Ford, your welcome.

I understand it ugh but if they keep at it,I just say I no, thank you but I have it already then when they try to get me to buy something else I pull out the I'm a makeup artist and I just need that eye shadow!! Then they quickly back off or if I correct them on a product usually gets them to leave me alone lol but other then that I usually run in and out to prevent myself from buying more because I have a bad habit at doubling my colors.
