Are you looking to do it at home? If so, I would get the color you want, and do a color filler all over. Just put the hair color on your hair straight frim the tube/bottle, don't mix with developer. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, wipe off the excess, and process as normal. Make sure to use an ash brown if you can. Another thing you could do is buy the neutral protein filler at sally's, I believe its around 3 or 4 dollars, and add that to your hair color. It really helps keep your new color in, especially if your hair had been processed a lot recently. Red tones are very hard to eliminate, but I've found these tips worked for me when I went from dark red violet to black. But the best advice anyone could give is to go to a salon, this is just advice I've experienced through trial and error and cosmetology school.
