Hey everyone so I'm thinking of getting a weave put through my hair but only in the bottom quarter. I'm a blonde so it's constantly breaking here and there.. Do you think it would do a lot of damage? Some people say their hair had grown but mine is a not as healthy :) opinions x

I think it wouldn't be a lot of damage if you will use great products :)

If my hair is more weak do you think it would snap even more from the tension?

Try and heal the damaged areas first before installing a weave because installing a weave on damaged hair is of no benefit in the long run. What method of install are you eyeing...glue in,sew in?

Just sew in :)

You could try some clip in extensions that shouldn't damage your hair anymore.

Yea no. A sew in on damaged hair is breakage waiting to happen. Do you shampoo your hair daily?

Over the passed 4-5 years I've tried sew in , glued in, and clip ins...
Sew in isnt damaging as everyone thinks it is..just don't get the braids soo tight! and before you get it done moisturize your hair.!
Glue ins I don't recommend..I didnt like it..
& clip ins are always a way to go!

Sew ins are fine in general if done properly. But if the hair is already in poor condition isn't not a good idea to put more stress on the hair.

Try clip-ins first just to restore your damaged hair but then gradually go to a sew-in.. if applied properly & taken care of, sew-ins can be very good while protecting your natural hair & growing it.
