I just got a new skin care product and I used it for a couple of days. The product brand is Clearasil. I woke up the next morning and my face was all flaky and burning. It was red and my friends said my face looks painful. As in it hurts me so much that it hurts them. Please tell me if there are any home remedies to fix my face or anything I can buy. Thank You!

Aloe Vera, and I don't recommend clearasil, too harsh on the skin.

A honey mask will help soothe too. it's a humectant so it will bring moisture while it heals your skin.

It's fixable. I did that too. Put olive oil all over the affected areas. Wait 15 minutes, then wash gently and pat dry. Don't rub, and do not wash your face with any kind of soap.
Your likely having a reaction to the alcohol or sodium loral sulfate (SLS). Common allergy that would cause dermatitis or eczema. Once mostly healed in 3 or 4 days, look or a face wash that does not contain that, like boscia detoxifying black cleanser. It's more expensive, but a bottle lasts forever. Find a toner, soap and moisturizer that does not have these ingredients, and use alcohol and Salic acid acne treatments for as needed only when pimples are starting.

As a spot treatment, to clarify. When were young and broke, we tend to use inexpensive drug store cleansers, believing we need to strip the oil from our face. As a result, we actually make pimples worse. Bacteria causes pimples, not oil. Lack of oil causes drying, a dermatitis that is peeling and bumps similar to acne, leading to a vicious cycle that leads to where your at. Let it heal, look for products that clean but won't strip oil from your skin (alcohol and SLS free) and don't use acne treatments as a preventative without a doctors supervision
