I am trying to find a new exfoliater. I recently had a problem with my old one which my face is now uncomfortable, dry, flaky, and really red. I have very sensitive skin which can burn very easily as you can tell. What I used last was a Clearasil face cleanser. Please tell me what I should get and what you use. Thank You!

Believe it or not, Bath and Body Works has a really good one. Over by the true blue spa department.

St Ives or just exfoliating cotton pads. They are very very gentle since they are made of cotton, but they get the job done. I put water on one and go over my face with it before I wash my face in the morning.

What was it about the old one that made it overdrying? Something you have to realize is you should only be exfoliating max 2 times a week - start with once a week whenever you start a new exfoliator.. But if it has harsh beads that were over drying try a glycolic acid exfoliator instead it does not have harsh beads but the acid gently sloughs away dead skin cells - I like the foaming glycolic cleanser by Mario badescu it's great.
