Exfoliating foot masks.. safe?!

I've just heard about these exfoliating foot masks which you basically wear for 90 minutes and about 7 days later all the dead skin peels off. I googled it and some of the pictures look really dramatic! Do you think there would be any risks of using these? thanks.

I've used peel off mask on my face and have never had any problems. I've never heard of mask for your feet though! I'm interested to see if any other ladies or gents have tried these :)

I'd never heard of them before either! read a couple of reviews on amazon and they sound pretty good!

No it seems like it's doing more than exfoliating. That looks like a layer of skin was removed ( from abrasive exfoliation... Yes that included chemicals as they can exfoliate as well and are usually much more harsher. )

I think that is a horrible idea. it looks like it's peeling off way to many layers of skin. if I understand you put these chemicals on that kill your skin cells and then a week later that all come off in a big chunk. Sounds horrible. it actually looks what just foot looked like after I had casts and surgeries on it and it didn't see air for months. the skin was so tender that seriously everything hurt. I couldn't walk on it yet But I'd believe that would be impossible because of the pain.
