Does Proactiv really work?

I saw the commercials for the new Proactiv Plus and was planning on ordering it but I'm still skeptical on if it will really work or not. Has anybody tried proactiv? How good was it?

I tried proactive & it was.. okay. didnt clear me up like the commercials promise. also, I've heard around that once you use proactive & then try to stop/switch to a different brand, you break out terribly. your skin becomes almost dependent on it :/

I like Clean & Clear or Clinique better! lol.

I don't break out badly... But when I start to break out a little bit I use the proactive and I have all the steps for proactive and I personally think it works very well but moisturizer after using it because it dried my skin out... So many times! But I have friends who use it and it doesn't dry out there skin I guess it depends on the person👌
