I post so much about this but I still have problems.
My hair is a major source of insecurity for me.
It's at an awkward length.
Too long to leave out too short to put up.
After I shower and put product in it it looks amazing. But throughout the day the curls dry out and shrink and I'm left with a mess. I hate it and I'm so tired of styling a certain way every day.
And no I don't want a weave or extensions or heat or chemicals.
I just need to know how to achieve these type of curls! She showed her technique in the video but it doesn't work for me. I just want answers :(

Yes. You need to get products that are formulated for kinky coily hair.
The only one I see for our hair type is the ic fantasia! You can try to leave some conditioner (a bit) when you get out of the shower, section you hair into six sections, and apply the gel! I haven't really used the product line before so I'm not sure how they work! The only thing I can recommend is for you to YouTube videos for that product. Or the herbal essences ones! I saw a great video for finger could and it was a professional one by an herbal essence worker! I can't remember the name but also try to look up how to define your curls with conditioner, because it works! Also, keep your curls moisturized (easy, with conditioner) also, when you get the money, I suggest spending a couple extra bucks for Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, and then buying cantu Shea butter leave in! I use these and a three dollar hair spray everyday! They are my staples in my hair care routine! When you do have more money, I suggest also trying out more products, but for now, just try a couple, that I am almost positive will work for you! I have the EXACT same hair as her, except longer, and thicker!

Try bumble&bumble curl defing creme. distribute the creme evenly and grab thick sections and twist your hair. (doesn't have to perfect) and then dry with a diffuser.
