Hey girls. I've recently picked up the loreal lumi and was disappointed to say the least. The foundation was very oily on me and settled in my fine line. To make it short, it looked horrible. I have medium oily skin. And yes I did set my foundation. So girls if you have oily skin and used this product and loved it, please tell me how you spoiled it and so forth thanks :)

Hi Kaitlyn, I have terribly oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. I use the Body Shop Tea tree primer before applying foundation or concealer. It really helps block the oil and the foundation glides on since it fills in visible pores, fine lines etc. It also helps my skin be blemish free cuz most foundations make me break out. So yes, a primer is your answer.

I personally don't think the L'Oreal Lumi is meant for people with oily skin. It's meant to give you a "luminous glow" and it contains more water for hydration and therefore will make oily skin look more oily. I have oily skin and I use L'Oreal True Match and I love it. It does not leave me matte but it gives a nice satin finish and if you use a primer and a setting powder it gives a nice natural glow throughout the day.

I agree with shauna...but I know a foundation I love is makeup forever matte velvet. It leaves a soft smooth finish is full coverage, oil free, and water resistent and on top of that its awesome!!...but if youre not really in the position to buy new makeup at the moment try using milk of magnesia...a lot of people apply it under their foundation to act as a primer and it works just as good if not better too.
