How are you?

We are all on this site for the same reasons to say the least! - We LOVE makeup! Some of us are artists and some of us are general home users of makeup. All of which is wonderful!!

I am doing a quick study and I was hoping that all of you would spare sometime. I have a couple of questions that I wish for you to answer, simple and basic, the more detailed the better but not required!

1. What is your favorite product? (not brand) Eyeshadow? Mascara? Foundations? Primer? etc.
2. Who are your favorite companies to buy said products from?
3. What do you look for when buying makeup? Such as, quality, quantity, a good reputation in the industry, etc.
4. Lastly, if you could change or add something about your favorite product (Question 1) what would it be?

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HELP ME OUT! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!! :)

1. Favorite product- definitely eyeliner. I can do anything with it. Dramatic, simple, smudged, clean, colorful, anything.
2. My favorite brand of eyeliner is Urban Decay. Without a doubt, best eyeliners I've ever used.
3. I look for quality, and a good, reputable brand. I'll try anything, but if I hear something bad I'm less likely to want to try it.
4. I wouldn't change anything about eyeliner pencils. Nothing at all. They're perfect.

1. Brow powder, and mascara. I feel like filling in my eyebrows ( although light ) makes everything look so neat and clean. And mascara is because I like making my lashes look volumized and long.
2. Probably Nordstorm, it has everything from Sephora and MAC ( as well as other higher brands ) in their stores. The people there are always more professional.
3. Quality and a good reputation, definitely. Quantity does apply ( I don't want to pay $900 for an ounce of make up or make up I'll use in a day or two. ) And a good reputation definitely matters. If all I hear are bad experiences ( like with the limecrime scandal ) I'm sorry but I won't buy. I understand a lot of girls say 'Oh but it didn't happen to me so its okay because maybe that person ticked them off or something! Negative... it's a COMPANY not another person. They are not supposed to pick and choose who they like.
4. Nothing! I wouldn't know.

1. Mascara- it finishes off every look to perfection. Plus it can be worn alone or with dramatic eye makeup!
2. Maybelline, loreal, and rimmel
3. When I buy mascara I look for color, longevity, and how it makes my lashes look. Mainly I look at quality for the price.
4. I wish I could use one mascara to achieve my look instead of 5!

1. Mascara
2. Urban decay, lorac, benefit (I need to try more)
3. What I look for in makeup is the texture & quality, it means more to me than anything else. I don't knock anything until I try it.
4. Volume and length in one I typically use 2 or 3 different ones.

1. Eyeshadow- I have a huge collection of everything from neutrals to bold colours
2. Urban Decay- They have amazing quality eyeshadows but because of the price I never buy their individual eyeshadows. I'm a huge fan of their palettes. My all time favourite palette is UD Vice 1.
3. I want my product to be worth the price. I prefer buying a nice quality palette with a wide variety of colours rather than individual eyeshadows that are over $20 a piece. I also look for quantity, I want to feel like if I'm spending good money on a product then I want to have a good amount of the product. Of course quality is the first thing I look for. Nothing is worth the price whether high or low if it isn't good quality.
4. The only thing I would change is that I wish all eyeshadows had amazing pigmentation. There's nothing more disappointing than seeing an amazing colour and when you apply it on your eyes it's not vibrant at all.

1. Favorite product- foundation, illuminators/Highlighter, Lashes.

2. Favorite Companies- None yet, I just like to experiment with different brands. But for lashes, Ardell and red cherry are my favs.

3. Quality over quantity. One good quality product can replace several lower quality products. Overall, if it works and gives me the results I'm looking for, I'll buy it.

4. Wouldn't change anything.

1. Gel liner
2. Favorite brands are urban decay and too faced
3. Good quality, good reputation and cute packaging
4. I would change the fact that they don't have contouring products

1. Liquid liner, brow products

2. My favorite liquid liner is by stila and it completes any look! I love brow products from Anastasia and benefit

3. I look for quality over quantity. I also make sure that the product and brand is trusted and reputable and is worth
the purchase.

4. I wish that it would be more acceptable to wear colored liners! I love them but people think that colored liner is strange and weird.

My fav product is cream foundation.
My favorite companies are ulta, sephora, and walgreens. Brands: mac and iman.
I look for quality mostly.
If I could change my fav product, probably if it could match my skin 100%, not a lot of makeup for brown skin.

My favourite products are my eyebrows shadows and my foundations. I tend to look for quality over quantity and good coverage when looking for a foundation. I actually love the Australis brand here because they don't test their makeup on animals and it's always got a good matte finish aswell as good coverage. If I could change something about my Australis pressed powder it'd probably be that it wouldn't break as easily into a million pieces, but these things happen. :)
