I actually work at mac its a fun job to me since I really like makeup and things like that it's not bad at all so if you really like makeup and stuff you should apply there and I applyed by going into the store and filling out an application

Hey Liz. I worked for MAC. I loved the perks and my co workers but I personally don't like "selling" makeup, and thats what its truly about. I just like to DO makeup. There is a difference :) I know that MAC ONLY hires artist (have worked for other lines), or professionals (with a license). You should always ask though. I went through three interviews..a basic one, a full face with model, and the final one with the big wigs. LOL. You will be trained "the MAC way" and its truly a lot of fun. You will learn everything about the company.
SO if you are a great sales person, and have the passion for doing makeup, you will be fine. Its all about your sales goals at the end of the day though. So be prepared to hustle, work hard, and you will love the 60% discount and free makeup as well! GOOD LUCK!!
