Using tweezers helps me. Make sure you wait a few seconds and blow on the glue to let it get tacky before you apply it and they'll stay on better.

I agree using tweezers helps a lot and it also helps to let the glue dry a bit another tip that Hasnt been mentioned is that before applying the fake eyelashes lay them on top on your eyelashes and cut off whatever is too much at the end it sucks to have too long lashes and when putting them on laying them on your lashes and pushing them slowly on your eyelid part is easier and YouTube help :D

Okay a couple things to note:
-you have to size it to your eye (place it with no glue, measure it and cut the excess from the outer corner)
-hold the lash band at each and it roll it (like make it do a wave lol) just to make the band flexible and so it can curve better for your eye.
-glue: put a dab of glue on the back of your hand, dip an end of a brush and brush it on the band)
-wait for it to dry like 30 seconds
-I use my fingers and line up the middle of the lash with my lash line, then put the edges down.
-go over the band with liner

Make sure you start off with good quality products. The glue should be great quality, as it's really the most important part. For beginners, use white lash glue that clears dry. That way you can see exactly where it is upon putting it on your lid.

GOOD LASH GLUES:
Duo Lash Glue $16
Revlon Adhesive $8

Using tweezers will give you much better control than fingers, as fingers tend to get in the way/crimp the lashes. Start with an even amt of glue on the lashes (the revlon glue is a paint-on version which I love) LET IT GET TACKY. This is super important. If it's not somewhat sticky before applying it will slide off.

Start on the innermost corner and get that as close to your lashline as possible. NOT on your lashes. Press that in. Keep guiding the lashband along the curve of your eye and push in as you go. If the glue is tacky it should be easy.

Good luck!
