Hey ladies :)
So, I love lipstick but my lips.. don't :(
what remedies and/or products are good for dry lips? I want to be able to use my matte lipstick without worrying about the clearly visible lines.
ALL of your opinions are highly appreciated :)

I'm not big on scrubs as some ppl would probably suggest. what I find amazing is to put some lip chap (I like nivea or vaseline, but if you have something better go for it) and sleep with it on all night like a thick layer. I know it seems very obvious but I feel like since I'm not constantly touching my lips it works great. even honey is really good for your lips!!

And I like to but a thin layer of lip chap under lipstick even if its matt... it makes a huge difference for me.

I like deep renewal by nivea, its at any drugstore, about 3-4 dollars. Also, I love lip scrubs, I use white sugar and olive oil, or coconut oil ( I sometimes even just do sugar and water) and it helps a lot. You can any exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush!

Thank you all! :) Lindsay I might have to check that out:) I bite my bottom lip a lot too! Especially while at work, it's one of my worst habits next to biting my nails :(

Granulated sugar mixed with honey, use a toothbrush to scrub this onto your lips to remove dead skin. Use a hydrating heavy duty lipbalm- not talking eos/baby lips..the real deal haha. Vaseline shea butter, Carmex classic and Blistex will keep a moisture barrier. I like covering my lips thickly with Carmex when I go to sleep, in the morning they feel SO much softer and poutier. Use lipbalm before applying lipstick, too. Avoid using the 'concealer over you lips' tip to avoid liplines.

I'm a fan of the old school carmex lol, I'm almost positive I'll be trying that tonight and hopefully it helps the nasty dryness go away
