Papaya is good for scars but don't know about acne. I used a papaya soap from a mexican brand when I was 16 I remember it gave me an even tone.

I think it's going to be good. give it a try if you can and it's not expensive. But you can look for it at amazon or some place, google it, and read the reviews to get an idea.

Well then maybe better to avoid it. You can always make a mask with mashed papaya and raw honey. It's a great mask for almost everything. And your welcome ammara.

I have 3 scar removing creams all of their main ingredient is kojic acid. So I guess this soap also helps lighten the scars.

Papaya contains acid enzymes that are great at given the skin an even tone. It acts as an exfoliator. So yes as far as addressing active acne and scars...it will take of that. Another thing you can do is actually puree a papaya in your blender and apply it to your face like a mask. I do warn you though to play close attention to how your skin reacts because some people are actually allergic to papaya that can result in adverse skin reactions.

The Philippines is full of Papaya and Kojic Acid soaps used for whitening. I wouldnt use this on my face though. It might be too harsh.
