I flawless have really fair skin. Its really hard for me to find makeup that compliments my skin. I also have dry skin but I use moisturizers and primer before I use my makeup but it still comes out flakey and patchy. I've used liquid foundation and pressed matte powders but nothing seems to give me that look. What should I use??

I feel your pain. My skin is very dry and pale too. I use loreal true match foundation and rimmel stay matte powder and neither dries me out. Try Nivea's Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer, its amazing. I use it as a moisturiser and a primer. It makes it feel like water is just soaking into your skin its beautiful.

I also have very fair skin so I find it hard to find foundation that's light enough for me. I recommend checking out L'Oreal True Match and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. My all time favourite moisturizer is Simple Skincare Light Hydrating Moisturizer, but I have oily skin. They also have a heavy moisturizer for people with dry skin and their moisturizers soak into the skin nicely. For a primer I recommend checking out Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro. You may also want to invest in a bb cream as a primer or a tinted moisturizer. Marcelle has some very good products for that.

Try lorac sms1 on hautelook its 10 bucks until tomorrow. I watched a review on a woman that had very fair skin and she loved. and if it doesn't work it was only 10 bucks :)

So glad others who have very fair skin posted. I would love to hear colors/brands that have worked for you. Also wanted to share if you know of at least 2 foundation shades that have worked for you findation.com gives you your matches in almost every brand. I'm NW15 blue undertones.

@Felicia..exfoliating would do wonders fir those dry patches. What skin care do you use? I've found Smashbox Photo Ready primer. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and a powder by Physicians Formula that illuminates applied with a beauty blender by rolling it on t-zone works well for me. NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia works for me also. I like a med-heavy coverage and seek illuminating products, I want to GLOW! lol...

@Shauna..I'm just interested in what others with very fair skin are using, I'm a makeup/product junkie and I understand it can be challenging especially getting a shade of anything that works for you. For example, what blush works for you?

I'm not hugely into blush but I loveee Nars Orgasm or you can use a dupe like NYX Pinched. Also, if you check out Smashbox's Master Class 2 Palette they have a few gorgeous blushes such as "Carnation" and "Geranium"

Revlon colorstay in ivory ha been pretty good for me. Lightest shade I could find in boots. I really want to try out MUFE face and body foundation but nowhere local for me to try it out first.

max factor 3 in 1 (light ivory 40)
l'oreal true match (R1.C1 rose ivory)
bourjois healthy mix (light vanilla N. 51)
Bobbi brown long-wear even finish foundation spf 15 (porcelain 0)
took me ages to find the right colors! If I were you I would stay away from both maybelline and Rimmel, I found that their lightest foundation still is pretty dark on really fair skins. for example, I wear their lightest shade in the summer when I'm tanned...
I hope this helps you! and excuse me for the dirty bottles, I'm such a sloppy girl haha

You can always try mixing a little bit of a moisturizing cream in with your foundation. I hear it will also give you a dewy... Don't know from experince tho.
