I've been wanting to try the Real Techniques brushes for a while now and I was wondering if they are good or not. If so, which ones do you prefer?

I don't think they are at all... neither does Miss Jacqueline. I believe she recommends 'Crown brushes' for beginners ☺

I just got the starter kit for the eyes (purple) and I love them! As a beginner myself, I recommend them. I also have the sigma F80 flat top kabuki brush and I love it! As well as the beauty blender, very simple to use.

Interesting.. I love the Real Techniques brushes, but to each their own as you said! I think they are very soft and quite durable. Very good for the price paid. They are my favorite brushes.

I'm in a similar situation, trying to decide what brushes to buy. Whether to save up money and get the dream sigma brushes or not wait and get a cheaper version. I've looked at coastal scents and real techniques, never seen those BDellium's before those look pretty nice!

Right on aly! That's what I use (besides a dome brush from Sally). Kenna I'll let you know how I like my coastal scents brushes whenever I get to actually order and get them lol they have a 22 piece set on sale right now =) rt brushes to me are highly expensive as far as their single brushes are concerned. I can go to Sally and probably get a better one for the same price if not a dollar cheaper. I've never used rt so I don't know how they are

I personally don't like real techniques brushes at all.. They don't pick colors as well as MAC does and I even don't like there shapes. They are not for me.
