I used a homemade face scrub made of baking.soda and face soap, and it started burning so I took it off, and it result it has left my face red and irritated, what can I do to reduce the redness and irritation?

^ yeah, what works for some doesn't work for all, unfortunately. she probably has a different skin type than you.
I would moisturize & maybe use a bit of aloe vera if you have it. sudocream is another good option.

Aloe Vera works amazing! Definitely buy it if you don't have it! It's super cheap ;) Until you get it I would recommend icing your face which will reduce the redness ;)

Aloe Vera with oatmeal. Discontinue the use if baking soda as it gave you a chemical burn. I would put on make up for the next week or so as it can cause an infection.
