I forget the exact name but you can contor with a bronzer on the cheeks and nose it you're going for a chiseled look.

To contour I think a powder like the benefit hoola is great to use
to highlight I would try the MAC prep and prime highlight pen in light boost. and add a setting powder called emphasize from MAC and put on top of that.

Powder products give more of a subtle look while liquids can give a "stronger" contour. But you can use both. I'll use liquids first like Maybellibw fit me foundation stick for contouring and then MAC prep and prime highlighting pen first and set it with Anastasia contour kit. Love it!

I use cream. I have the senna contour and highlight kit. If you want to see me apply it I have a video on my channel. Links in my bio. It's really great because you can make it look dramatic or natural. The brown color in the kit is a grey toned brown which is what you want when contouring - not a warm brown like bronzers have.

I would actually not use a bronzer to contour. A contour is supposed to look like an actual shadow, and most bronzer's have too much of an orange-ish kinda tint. There are a few here and there though that aren't bad. But the reason bronzing for contouring is bad is because the point of contouring is to make wherever you are putting that color look like it's sinking away, fading away. Like under your cheek bones in the hollows of your cheeks. Most bronzers have glitter or sparkle or a shimmer finish to them. If you put that on your face, the sparkles/sheen/shimmer will catch the light and do the opposite of what you're trying to do, and it will actually bring that feature FORWARD. So putting bronzer in the hollows of your cheeks will actually make them stand out more, instead of hollow them out more!
