I have black hair and I'm looking forward to lightening my hair for some highlights! I heard about using lemon juice and honey, but I do not want to dry out my hair!! Is there any other home remedy I can use?? Thnx :)

I had to straight out bleach because my hair is stubborn. BUT if you tone with purple dye mixed into a hair mask, it won't be too bad.

Don't put lemon juice in your hair, it will dry out and you need a very big amount of lemon juice and it still won't come out perfectly it will be very blochy, try the honey mask. good luck:)

^ I agree with Nikki. The only way you'll get a noticeable result is if you bleach.

Bleaching is horrible.. Use it As a last resort because if you have coarse natural hair it is the most sensitive to chemicals. And you would basically not have the same curl pattern
