I've been experimenting a bit here at home with home made face masks, and I just washed off this amazing rehydrating, yet firming and pore-cleansing mask. Thought I had to share it here if someone wants to try it out!
Don't wear it any longer than 5-10 minutes tho. (The cinnamon is going to get the circulation going, and you don't want to irritate the skin. WARNING. Because you are going to get the circulation going, your skin might blush alittle, so I recommend using this at night.) if you want to read what the ingredients do, scroll to the bottom! :)
The recipie:
1 egg white
1/2 table spoon lemon juice (1 whole tablespoon if you want it to exfoliate even more)
1-2 tablespoons of honey. (If your skin is dry, use more honey)
Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on if you want the get the circulation going and boost the cell renewal. Aproximately 1/2 tablespoon.
Whisk/blend it all together, and apply with a face mask brush or your fingers, apply to your entire face and neck avoiding the eye and mouth areas. Leave on for 5-10 mins and then rinse it off!
Don't forget to moisturize afterwards!
If you try it, please let me know what you thought of it! :)
The ingredients:
Lemon juice is a natural exfoliant and skin-brightener, plus it ads vitamins to the skin.
The egg white will add protein to your skin and also firm it and temporarily reduce fine lines.
The honey will smooth, rehydrate and calm your irritated blemishes and spots. It also contains a lot of anti oxidants, protecting the skin.
Cinnamon will exfoliate your skin, but also get the circulation going, and boost the cell renewal! THIS is why your skin might blush alittle while and after you've used the mask on you face.
