A good shampoo?

So I really want it start making my hair healthy and beautiful now because its one of my favorite things about how I look:). I've been looking at these shampoos:

Herbal essences drama clean

Tresseme smooth and silky with Moroccan Argan oil

John Frieda brilliant brunette multi tone revealing

I have long black hair, slightly damaged. Do I need a clarifying shampoo? And also I have used a different tresseme shampoo before and I felt like it was just okay didn't make my hair more shiny or soft or anything. So does this one make a difference and does anyone know of a really good shampoo that is moderately priced?
