Hi ladies,
I've been biting my nails for god knows how long and I really want to stop. My nails are really thin as well from acrylic nails. Does anyone have tips on nail growth and strengthening?!

I used to have this problem too, I'd bite my nails down till there was nothing left!
What I started doing was wearing nailpolish that I really liked or doing some nail art. That way I wouldn't want to ruin the design! I would not recommend using those anti-bite polishes. I used one and every time I ate something I could taste the polish. It was horrible.
As for strengthening and growth I would say just rub in some coconut oil all over your nails whenever you can. It really helps!

My best friend is HORRIBLE with nail biting so I'm always really proud when her nails look like they've grown a lot. She says she always has to pay someone to do her nails because she will feel so much worse if she ruins a manicure she paid for over one she did on her own. She also ha been getting gel manicures and they are great. They last longer and she said they make her nails harder to bite and easier for her to grow out

Even though acrylic thins out your nails, which shouldn't happen if you take proper precautions and care of it, I think acrylic is the best thing because you literally can't bite your nails.

No it isn't..get shellac. Acrylics totally thin your nails and unless you plan on keeping them..they aren't the way to go. Shellac gives enough strength and thickness to grow your own nails without damaging them. It does require upkeep but the results are clear and worth it if you want long thick nails :)

I have a bad nail biting problem, and something that helped me was using those peel and stick nail stickers.
They work for me because I know if I bite them it'll chip and they'll be more likely to peel off.
They can be expensive, but since I'm using them only for nail growth I get the ones at the dollar store. There a lot cheaper, but stay on for about a week plus.

I have a problem with biting my nails to, I only do it around exam time, but the best thing to do is go into your local super drug or boots and buy the stop biting your nails in a tub it's like £3 but all you do is put your nails into the sponge which has a vile taste to it... That will put you off biting them! I promise you! :)
