I got my belly button pierced about a week ago, and I've been doing everything the piercer said to do (cleaning and being careful etc.) As weird as this sounds, I shave around by belly button and my lower stomach, and I was wondering how long I have to let my piercing heal before it will be safe to shave again? Thank so much!!

As long as it takes to heal? is it not like 6-12 weeks,I guess you could try to with great precaution :)

If you are very gentle around the area and don't touch the piercing you'll be fine! x

It'll be at least a year before you can tug on it without having to be extra gentle, belly piercings are weird like that. You could shave around it now just be gentle with your bar and try not to pull it back, etc. :)
