Do you mean in like the fashion world? Or just beauty in general? Piercings do change your appearance but don't make you anymore/less beautiful :)

Personaly, I don't like it. Totaly honest, I hate it. I don't like how people look with it. I think people look million times better without it then with it. But I respect. I mean I don't have any bad opinion about someone who has it. And by this I mean any kind of face piercing not ear one.

I think piercings are totally fine but I also think that sometimes they don't compliment a persons face and sometimes they do. Just my opinion.

I'm with Nicolet K. I personally love them but some people just can't find the piercing that's flattering to their shape.(body and face)

I love piercings so so much. Like Yolande said, they do change how you look but they don't make you more or less attractive. I think they are kind of like tattoos. ANYONE can have and rock one.

I have a nose piercing and I always get compliments whether its my gold hoop or silver stud!
I love them as long as there isnt a overload of piercings x

I have seven piercings. All on my ears though. Personally I'm not a big fan of facial piercings besides the nose. I have I have 5 piercings on my right ear and 2 on the left and in the makeup industry my short hair and earrings became a trademark to my clients

I have several piercings but do agree that too many if they don't suit the person will make them look unprofessional and maybe cluttered. But, I love piercings and have had them since grade 9 and never regretted one, so it's personal choice I suppose.

Am I the only one that doesn't see them as a way to express myself at all? To me they're accessories and that's about it hahaha! I can't have any face piercing because of boxing though :( I want my nose pierced so bad.

Its okay. when it all comes down to it with being a makeup artist they like you for your work for what you got not because you have a piercing or not.
