I have a gift card, but wanted to try out some powders and primers first since my skin reacts to certain things. Do they give out samples or you have to buy something.

Idk about powders but others yeah you just pick up the product you want to test and ask for a sample.

I don't think they would for powders since I'm not sure how they would be able to get a small sample of that. They will for primers. You can always just buy some powders and then return the ones you don't like. They have a great return policy.

They definitely have samples of primers. I've gotten a sample of one of the UD eyeshadow primers. I don't think you'd have to buy anything to get a sample. just go in & say you want to try it our before buying & see what they say.

They will for powders too I asked for a sample of makeup forever hd powder. it was difficult but they did it.

Anything that's in a squeezable, pump able, or shakeable container they'll give samples of. Don't think they will of anything pressed tho.

Essentially sephora will give a client samples of products they would like to try before purchasing. Be aware though that the policy is 3 samples per client but any good consultant would be happy to either a) ask a manager for a reasonable exception or b) sit you down for what we call an "express" at the beauty studio and try on the product and if it is a powder we can make a sample of anything even powders even though it might be a little tricky but like I said they can sit you down and try the powder on you then and there.
