There is no much you can do. You have to be born with it. But yeah you can make it thicker, try to find something on internet.

You can give it the illusion of fullness with products, but nothing can make your hair actually grow out of your head thicker. So my suggestion is the Organix Biotin and Collagen Thick n Full line. It's supposedly really great for volumizing. I'll check and see if I can find the article. http://theglossarie.com/2013/07/30/organix-thick-full-biotin-collagen/

You could use dry shampoo to get more volume?

Avoid chemical based shampoo, conditioner and styling products.
Use essential oils to thicken your hair.bChamomile, lavender, rosemary, thyme, geranium and cedarwood, among others, help thicken hair follicles.
Apply 10 to 20 drops of your chosen oil to your scalp, and massage the oil in with your fingers. Use you fingers to rub the oil down to the tips of your hair.
You could also mix 3 to 5 drops of essential oil into your shampoo or conditioner when washing your hair.
Deep condition your hair by adding five to 10 drops of essential oil to 3 to 4 ounces of castor oil, olive oil, jojoba oil or sunflower oil. Apply the oil to your hair, taking care to cover each strand. Wrap your hair in a towel and let the oil sit for 30 minutes, then shampoo and condition as normal.
Treat your hair gently to decrease hair loss. Use a wide-toothed comb instead of a brush, and work out the tangles with care, rather than pulling them through.
Avoid heat styling tools.
Allow your hair to grow in its natural texture and color
Eat a well-balanced, healthy diet with plenty of vitamin B and iron. Many people experience thinning hair because they have nutrient deficiencies.
Could get volumizing hair products like shampoos and conditioners.
Cut off dead ends

My mom has very little hair and what she does is blow dry her hair upsides down and straighten the roots inward and it make it look like she has a lot of hair! You can also braid it overnight then when you take them off in the morning it makes your hair look big and that gives the illusion of having a lot of hair!(:

I faced this problem too and I know how much it sucks but my hair is much better now! use natural oils like castor oil, argan oil, coconut oil, or almond oil and massage your scalp once everyday for 10 to 15 minutes ( massaging the scalp stimulates blood flow and it made a big difference for me!! ). Have a hot oil hair treatment at least once a week and Avoid washing your everyday and do not comb it while it's still wet! Add protein and omega-3 rich foods to your diet. Also try taking biotin supplements but they might break you out if you have acne prone skin. Those are the things that helped me and I hope they work for you! ;)
