Help! I have very thick frizzy hair. I try to flat iron it and it doesn't work. At first I thought is was just the type of flat iron but I have tried many and none work! I have long hair so it's not as frizzy anymore but I just got layers and now it's really bad! I can't thin my hair either, I already have 3 times in the past year, any tips?

Try washing it less often. If it's thick it probably won't look greasy. Dove cream serum is great for taming frizz, too.

It's frizzy because it's dry. straightening may be making it worse. try Aussie 3 minute miracle. also try coconut oil & Moroccan Argan oil :)

I agree with Lauren, try using moroccan oil. Personally though I use the Chi Silk Infusion and I swear it works and I notice the difference when I'm using it and when I don't. It makes my hair softer and frizz free. You can even check some reviews about it, its amazing, it serves as a heat protector too. I apply it when my hair is still damp then I proceed with straightening it out or whatever. And yes I do have frizzy hair too but that product helps a Lot. You could give it a try, hopefully it'll work on you too. :)
